LODGE 136--MENTORING
Edward W. Bayuk
Many of you recognize Ed as a fixture in KSKJ. He has served our lodge for over 50 years and has held almost every office at one time or another. He was an officer with Holy Family #136 and then after the merge with Mary of Perpetual Help #174 he was elected as an officer with our new lodge.
For a few years now he has also been our mentor for our younger and new officers. He has been an invaluable asset to our organization. It is because of Ed's leadership that we have so many younger officers. Many of us are also lucky enough to call him friend! Ed celebrated his 90th birthday this year.

VICE PRESIDENT 2011
Edward Perko (affectionately known as "Bing")was elected to the Vice President position for a second term.
Bing had been an officer for Holy Family #136 Lodge for many years before the merger of the 2 lodges.
Many members will remember him as the Willard Postmaster. Bing is always committed to any job he takes on and that includes his VP job with our lodge.

FINANCIAL SECRETARY 2011
Lonna Rakovec was elected Financial Secretary for another term.
Lonna was Treasurer of Lodge #174 for over 17 years.
When Lodge #174 mergered with #136 Lonna was elected Treasurer of the new lodge and now she is Financial Secretary. She now has served KSKJ for almost 25 years.
Lonna currently is also our lodges reporter for the KSKJ Voice and maintains our website.
Lonna was chosen our 2011 "Lodge Person of the Year", along with being a delegate to the 2010 National Convention held in Pueblo Colorado.

Melinda Deavers was elected Treasurer for 2011.
Melinda has previously held offices as
Vice President and Recording Secretary.
She was a delegate to the 2010 KSKJ
National Convention in Pueblo, CO.
RECORDING SECRETARY 2011
Matthew Rakovec was once again elected Recording Secretary.
Matt has previously held the office of
Vice President.
While still in college Matt attended The KSKJ National Youth Leadership Conference in Kansas City.
Matthew married his college sweetheart Nancy on June 18, 2011. We wish them the best!
Youth & Adult Activities Director
Joanne Trunkel was elected Youth and Adult Activities Director for 2011.
Joanne has held this office for over 30 years, first with lodge #174 and now with #136 after the merger.
Joanne is the primary director for the KSKJ Annual Christmas Program held the second sunday of December. A job she is very good at.

First Auditor
Gene Rakovec was elected Auditor for 2011.
Gene has held numerous offices with KSKJ starting with Mary of Perpetual Help#174 as President, Vice President and Recording Secretary. After the merge with Holy Family #136 he was elected Auditor.
Gene's grandmother Antonija Rakovec was the first President of Lodge #174.
Gene has instilled a pride for their Slovenian Heritage in his four children. Gene is 1st generation American as his father was born in the former Yugoslavia.
Second Auditor
Jeremiah Rakovec was elected Auditor for 2011.
Jeremiah had held position as an auditor with Mary of Perpetual Help #174 before the merger of the 2 lodges.
Third Auditor
Robert Trunkel was elected Auditor for 2011.
Robert has held offices of President, Vice President and Auditor with Holy Family #136 before the merger. Since the merger he has been an auditor. Bob has been an officer for 37 years.
Bob's grandma was the 1st secretary of Mary of Perpetual Help Lodge 174 and held the office for 56 years.
